English as the global language

Today it's common sense that English has the most largest influential language in the world. It is required a high English skill to get a better job. Naturally more students desire to study abroad in America. English is becoming already a necessary language instead of the past "cool" language. So I think it's assured in the near future English will regard as the global language. However, not everyone agree with this statement. Some have some doubts about it.
Opponents of English as the global language claim that the share of the world's population that speaks English as a native language is falling. Yet still it is spoken as a native language in 54 countries in 192 countries. In other words, more than 500 million people speak it. Of course to become the global language, the population of speaking that language is important key but I suppose more important thing is its influence. Even if one language is spoken by the most largest population, it makes nothing if it's spoken only in one isolated big country. The matter is how large share and distribution it has. So I guess if the number of the native English speaker is decreasing, it won't destroy the common thought that English as a global language has taken root. Moreover, it might be covered with more developed education of English.
Opponents also maintain that Chinese will take place instead of English in the future. When thinking about population, China has the largest population,1.3 billion. It's overwhelmingly more than the number of native English speakers. In addition to population, China is showing a remarkable development in economic or scientific technique. So in order to get the business opportunity more people start to learn Chinese and think about fig future of China. Economical growth helps needs of its language bigger and bigger. So it couldn't be denied the possibility of Chinise as a global language, however, it has still problem. Firstly, Chinese has really a lots of dialects and it's said even if same Chinese sometimes it's difficult to understand the different dialects at all. Secondly, the country which has the most strongest influence economically, politically, military and culturally is still America. And I think it's difficult for the other country to go over these every genres.
In this way, the arguments about which language should be the global language is still in debatable. But I'm sure a condition of global language is its influence to the world. It means that country has to be top and attract people all the time. And so far it's probably United Stats.

An easy and a difficult lenguage at the same time.

English has been the universal language for communication in the actual globalized world, for doing business, international politics meetings and diplomacy issues (British magazine). One reason for why English is the universal idiom is because some people says is easy to learn, but on the other hand is difficult to master. It is easy in sense like the personal pronouns for example, are simple to learn than others tongues, because there are few and in some cases does not make difference if the noun is masculine or female. However, can be a bugbear in the way like a gap between pronunciation and spelling, the grammar is particular strange, and the language has a lot of verb conjugation like irregular verbs and regular verbs. Other problem for the English idiom, is it has a lot of version depending of the place where is speaking, and some native speakers have serious problems to understand between they. Also sometimes English is so complex, like if you put together two different words , the meaning can change in a significant form. Living at home and living away from home

In my country, the time in life when people leave home depends on several aspects. Usually, people leave home when they go to college in another city or, if they don’t go to college, people only leave home if they have a well paid job or a job in another city. The decision of whether living at home or living away from home depends on the social status and on the incoming that one has. Despite the fact that living with parents or alone depends on whether people are able to afford household expenditures, living alone or with family has both positive and negative sides. When living at home, people don’t need to be responsible for all the household finances, they have emotional support from their family, and they are in a comfortable and well known environment when they have lived all their lives. On the other hand, living away from home gives the opportunity for people to be responsible for themselves and their expenses, they don’t have emotional support all the time, and they are in a new and challenging environment.

The first difference about living at home or away from home is the financial issue. When living with their parents, people are not responsible for all household expenses, they don’t have to pay all the bills and sometimes, they don’t even have to worry about basic things such as food. In contrast, when living alone, people have to manage all the house finance, they need to pay all the bills and be aware of their needs and the house maintenance. That’s one reason why some people chose to be in their parents’ hose, so they don’t have to spend a considerable part of their income with “house stuff”. On the other hand, some people chose to leave home and be financially independent and take care of themselves.

The second contrast about living in home and away from home is the emotional issue. Living at home is emotionally comfortable because people have their families around to support them, help them making decisions, and giving advises. In opposite, living alone give people the opportunity to actually grow emotionally and be able to make their own decisions without the support of their families. Moreover, living alone makes people more independent and self confidents, as they have to decide things by themselves. While some may argue that living at home makes the children dependable and not emotionally mature, other believe that it is good and healthy to be around their family and to get all the support needed to live their grownup lives. In contrast, it can be argued take it’s emotional independence which makes people mature and healthy.

The last difference between living at home and away from home is the environmental issue. Life at home is secure and well known. Furthermore, home is where one has lived their entire life and they are well adapted to the surroundings. On the other hand, the new home can be in a complete different neighborhood or city. Also, it’s not always similar to the home people are used to since the new house is usually smaller, less fancier, and it’s usually located in a less attractive neighborhood them the parents’ home. While those who choose to leave home may think that it’s not a big deal to confront a decrease in their living status, those that choose to stay home might think that the difference in the environment is a major drawback.

In summary, living at home or living away from home is not a difficult decision to make. Furthermore, it’s more a cultural decision than a decision based in pros and cons. Nevertheless, the biggest differences between living at home or away from home are financial responsibility, emotional support, and environmental change.

Living at home and living away from home

Everyone when they're in high school or university have desired to live alone at least once. But living by oneself is a big challenge. And someone spends their lives without living alone That depends on their choice. However, the changing the environment is a good opportunity to grow up one's self because living at home and living away from home is totally different in following points;supper, stable person welcoming home and lifestyle.

When people think about difference between above two, the first big difference is "supper" When person is living at home with family especially with a mother, he doesn't need to care about supper at all. Yet, living alone is not like this. The 3 times supper is the center of life. Thus, when person starts to live by himself with the situation there is no preparation for supper, he'll feel a big empty. It takes a time to cook and he may depend on an instant or unhealthy food or eating out. Worse, in general it costs more than he thought. But in other words, if person doesn't have such opportunity to realize the importance of person who makes a supper, he never realized forever. It seems to be easy to say in words but it could be found really by living alone.

The second difference is whether there is a person to stay at home or not. In case of living at home, someone at least one person says "welcome" However, what about living alone? If it's room share, you have a person who welcomes you but it's not always. Difference between living at home and away from is difference of people you live with. It's nothing unusual but it's a big deal. Family and friends are different even if how good and deep relationship you make with that friends. A family is special because everyone has their own families. So they're stable and always beside of you . Though living alone person has to conquer this lonlyness.

The last difference is habit. It's only in the case of room sharing. Soon after person starts to
room share, he'll force to notice the small but various differences between roommate. Everyone has their own lifestyle depend on their houses. When person lives home, he doesn't have to care as he's been raised up in a family with that house's habit. On the contrary, in case of room sharing, a tiny single difference about attitude of roommate may rub you which If you're in home you never cared. It may be a conflict and it might not easy to solve. But it's what you've experienced and conquered through living away from home. Person could learn to adjust for someone by room sharing.
In conclusion, living at home and living away from home is totally different. Living away from home makes person grow up because he loses what he has when he lives at home;every suppers, stable family and common lifestyle.

Global Warming

A fact is that the earth has become involved in an increasing average temperature of his air and oceans since the mid-20^th century. Several studies show that the global surface temperature increased more than 1.33°F in the last 50 years. Global warning has several effects in changes the natural and ecological systems, which are generated sometimes by the nature and for the human activities. Consequently with the effects of Global warming, some countries are taken steps to reduce his emissions signing the Kyoto Protocol.

The first effect consists in changes in the natural system, who consists in changes in the structure of the earth than we known`. The ice is melting around the worldwide, including mountain glaciers, ice sheets placed in west Antarctica and Greenland, and Arctic sea ice, who generate a rise in the sea level, and for that reason some islands and coasts zones are going to be under the water. Also, the increase in the temperature of the earth generated an increase in the level of the precipitation and Hurricanes and storms are likely to become stronger.

The second effect is about changes in the ecological system. With more CO2 in the air and more temperature in oceans and terrestrial surface, the timing of spring event are going to be early, affecting certain ecosystems, including tundra, mangroves and coral reefs. This is going to generate the extinction of many species who cannot adapt to the new environmental panorama. Thus, the world is going to reduce the diversity of ecosystems.

Global warnings are caused by Natural and for Human activities. In the first one, the Natural cause is created by nature. Here we have: release of methane gas from arctic tundra and wetlands, CO2 emissions from volcanic eruptions and forest fires generated for the nature. These gases are part of the greenhouses gas, which provoke the increase in the level of the temperature of the earth. Then we have most important cause of the global warning, human activities. Most of the economic and home activities in our life need energy to work. That energy is generated by burning fossil fuels, which generated the biggest problem that cause the global warning, the pollution. Because is formed by greenhouse gases as CO2 and Methane, who rising the temperature level. Other cause generated for the human is that the increasing in the level of population, because we need more food—more farms and less forest , more space of the earth to live and also with more people breathing more out CO2.

Some countries to prevent the expected causes of the global warming have taken the decision to sign the Kyoto Protocol, who began working since 2005. This protocol set a maximum emission Co2 rate, which can expel one country, but USA did not ratify the treaty and is one of the countries with more level of Co2 emission in the world.

In conclusion, the global warning is a huge problem that we have to face in the medium run, if we want future generations to know the word we saw. The global warning has several effects such as: change in the natural and ecological systems, who are generated for the emission for greenhouse gas, who are expelled for the own nature and the human activities. Some countries have been compromise to attack the global warning, signing the Kyoto protocol, which reduces the Co2 emission of a country can expel. Finally, if we want to help, use ecological products, public transportation, save electricity in your home, and the world would be a better place to live.

The neighborhood cleanup days

Today every human recognize the issue of global warming is getting bigger and bigger. A lots of TV programs about global warming have been broadcasted or books have been published. People can get the information easily. However, even if people have knowledge and regard it very serious problem, it’s not easy to take action. This neighborhood cleanup days is a great idea. Of course it’s obvious it’s the campaign to clean up the environment and the earth. But in fact, it’s very reasonable and has possibility to give people motivation to keep the earth clean permanently. It doesn’t end at once in following different two approaches.

Through that days, people clean their neighboring area. It’s not only their roads but also a close river, beach or park. It’s true it’s a small effort for the big earth but definitely it cleans the environment. Moreover, it raises their consciousness as an inhabitant of that area. As a result, they become to have a responsibility to keep the town clean. Once people work hard and clean their town, they feel a sense of fulfillment. As it’s easy to imagine, once you concern about something and make it better, you want to concern constantly. Thus they try to keep it clear all the time unconsciously. Then they’ll get into the habit. They won’t do bad things for the environment like throwing the cigarettes on the road or trashing the can or bottle to the river or pouring an oil on the plate.

In addition, if they participate the cleanup days, they can get to know each other. Today the number of the apartment is increasing and people have less opportunity to associate with neighbors compared before. Sometimes people don’t know the person who lives even if the next door. So it’s great chance to meet neighbors. Also it could be a social place for the elderly people. They can clean with chatting and having fun! It’s not a burden compared with some works for global environment. As a consequence, they’ll go again and again. Humans want to belong to a community and keep connection with others. It’s good excuse to meet many people in one time. As a result, the earth is getting clear more and more.

Rising divorce rate in Brazil

According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, the divorce is continually increasing in the last 23 years. The divorce is one of the most important crises of adult life. Furthermore, when a couple faces an unsatisfactory marriage, many problems begin to arise in the daily living and relationship. The rising divorce rate in Brazil is associated with two main causes: women's rights, and more acceptance of divorce in the society.

The Constitution of 1988 brought many improvements to the condition of women in society, establishing legal equality between men and women at all levels, including the labor issue. All those legal improvements gave women the opportunity to take care of themselves, to be free and not to dependent on their husbands. Consequently, women have better education, better job opportunities and financial independence. Moreover, they can be more demanding in the sense that they now what they want and they are not afraid to speak up. Thus, if women are not satisfied in their marriages they can easily ask for divorce and star over with their lives.

However, besides the legal independence of women, another factor that has contributed to increasing divorce rate is the acceptance of divorce in our society. This acceptance is bough moral and commercial, and it gives great of opportunities of happiness, pleasure, and entertainment for those how give up the married life.

The first acceptance cause is the moral issue. Since the importance of religion, more specifically Catholic religion, has diminished in our society, its rigid dogmas became less influent in people behavior. Furthermore, marriage is not dictated by religion but by civil laws. All those concept changes make it possible for people to be divorced without being judged as immoral. Being divorced is no longer a reason to be ashamed, in fact, it can be viewed as a statement of ones freedom.

The second acceptance cause is somehow a consequence of the rising divorce rate. As people get divorced, they create a new market segment. The divorcees are financial independent are emotionally mature adults, who are in the market again after a relatively long period of reclusion in a steamily intimate and monogamy life. These people have money to spend and there are a lot of entertainment out there waiting for them, such as special single’s night at bars, dating websites and agencies, group trips and cruises, even small apartments, houses and cars are available for people that choose to live a single life.

While rising divorce rate has negative consequences, it has positive aspects too. First, it’s considerably better to be alone than to be trapped in an unhappy marriage. Even though some may argue that it affects the children, it’s better for them to live in separate yet happy and health houses than to live in a house full of resentment, fights, and disrespect.

To sum up, rising divorce rate in Brazil are associated with the improvement of women rights, and the growing acceptance of divorce in the society. No matter its causes or consequences, the divorce is the way people release themselves from unhappy marriages, it’s a way to regain freedom and independence when one fills trapped in an unsatisfactory relationship.
